Title: Careers in Nanotechnology
Url: https://www.nnin.org/news-events/spotlights/nanotechnology-careers
Creator: Allen, Ethan
Publisher: National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network
Description: When people think of career paths, nanotechnology is probably not on the forefront of their minds. Perhaps it should be. This website, created by The National Nanotechnology Institute Network, shows that nanotechnology will have “increasing impacts on many aspects of our daily lives, the opportunities for careers in these fields are expanding rapidly.” With this expansion though, more skilled workers will need to be trained. The training and implementation of these workers is the site’s main focus. Presenting statistics and different career areas/paths, it shows how viable and even progressive this field will continue to be in the future. This is a great resource for any technical education classroom.
