Categorized into six sections, the site covers such topics as Water Quality and Groundwater Analysis, Wetlands, Water Rights, Fishery Programs, the National Water-Quality Assessment Program (NAWQA), and the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. Within each category users will find research tools and fact sheets, including the newly released, searchable Environmental Contaminants Encyclopedia (discussed in the April 17, 1998 Scout Report). Although targeted at the general public, much of this information will be of use to educators and students.
