Title: Stanford Nanofabrication Facility
Url: https://snfexfab.stanford.edu/
Publisher: Stanford Nanofabrication Facility
Description: The purpose of the Stanford Nanofabrication Facility (SNF) is to “provide researchers with effective and efficient access to advanced nanofabrication equipment and expertise.” The site serves as a network for researchers, and even provides remote access via a live microscope and webcams, for researchers who cannot access the equipment in person. Although there are fees associated with becoming a labmember (this pertains to researchers who wish to use the lab facilities, or have a technician work on a project for them), some of the still images are made available, and there are a variety of resources on nanofabrication equipment, processes and materials also available for general use. Be sure to check out the “Contact Mask Design Principles Tutorial” in the “Processes” section in order to gain understanding of some of the technical aspects of nanofabrication.
