The Energy Information Administration (EIA) is the statistical arm of the United States Department of Energy. The administration web site provides publications and data relating to "energy resources and reserves, energy production, energy demand, and energy technologies." A nice feature of the site is the Interactive Data Query System which allows users to extract their choice of data series in a variety of formats. Note that Java is needed to access the data query system. The site also allows users to sign up to any of 31 mailing lists that notify users of the latest developments in the energy industry.
