The Marine Advanced Technology Education Center (MATE) has provided this overview of the ocean sciences, technology and operations workforce. The webpage includes an industry survey, an article submitted to the ORION newsletter, information on the ocean research priorities plan and implementation strategy and IOOS infrastructure concept reports. Those documents are available to download in PDF format.
MATE also includes a brief narrative explaining why it is important to understand the OSTO workforce and the purpose of the project.
