Url: https://wisconsin.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/ess05.sci.ess.watcyc.c...
Publisher: WGBH Educational Foundation
Description: Water vapor plays an important role in the water cycle and in the distribution of heat around the planet. By observing the movement of water vapor, scientists can study global wind patterns and the development of cyclonic storms. This simulation from the National Center for Atmospheric Research shows the circulation of water vapor around the Earth over the course of a year. The segment is four minutes fifty-two seconds in length. Quicktime is required to view the clip.
