Description:
This lesson plan from the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge (NACK) Center will introduce students to MEMS (Microelectromechanical systems), including highlighting how they are used in everyday items. The instructor will use a WiiMote and wireless smart board; a WiiMote track is set up in order to gather acceleration data from the WiiMote as it passes through the track.
The activity should take about 45 minutes of classroom time. This and all other resources from the NACK Center require a fast, easy, free log-in.
