This free downloadable DOS program teaches hands-on PLC (programmable logic controller) programming and functions as a Allen Bradley PLC emulator. This PLC training package is actually actually three distinct programs combined into one. There is a PLC ladder logic (function chart) editor for creating and editing PLC programs using Allen Bradley PLC-2 family instructions. Secondly, there is a PLC emulator. Thirdly, the program offers animated simulations of the inputs and outputs of the emulated PLC, including a simulated conveyor line and traffic light.
This program requires an IBM compatible computer that can run DOS, 486 or higher CPU with EGA or VGA graphics capabilities.
