Title: DNA Microarray Methodology - Flash Animation
Alternate Title: Microarray animation
Url: https://www.bio.davidson.edu/courses/genomics/chip/chip.html
Creator: Campbell, A. Malcolm
Publisher: Davidson College
Description: This animation demonstrates how DNA microarray experiments are performed. DNA chips are used to determine which genes are activated and which genes are repressed when two populations are compared. In this case, the comparison is between yeast cells grown under either aerobic or anaerobic conditions. This animation is very effective for many different education levels. Teachers and students love this one.
